Rocket math

I was disappointed in this app. I thought that students would practice math facts and earn money to build their rocket to launch. This is the case. The more accurate the students are in math facts the more money they earn allows them to buy more things for their rocket. However, if students do not care much for designing their rocket they could easily spend the whole time just launching their rocket over and over again. Now don't get me wrong in the launch there are other math skills practiced such as popping all even numbers or multiples of 4, but again students who are not supervised can just play. I originally downloaded this app for my students to practice math facts, I was disappointed to say the least, but it was free!
